    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING... so that we canpractise and apply working strategies to solve addition / subtraction problems of fractions with different denomintors.


    Success Criteria: Students can/have...

    • add and subtract fractions with like denominators
    • find the Lowest Common Multiple of 2 or more different denominators
    • add and subtract fractions with different denominators
    • identify the 3 scenarios of LCM
    • (revision) use times-table or multiplication facts to simplify fractions
    • (revision) simplify algebraic indices with exponential powers in multiplication and division of variables, and also exponential power outside brackets
