- We are PLANNING... so that we can… practise and apply times table facts to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers, and vice versa.
Success Criteria: Students can/have...
- define what fractions are and show their understanding of fraction concepts using real world scenarios
- use times-table or multiplication facts to simplify fractions
- identify what proper and improper fractions are
- convert improper fractions to mixed numbers, and vice versa
- simplify algebraic indices with exponential powers in multiplication and division of variables, and also exponential power outside brackets
