    This week we'll continue to focus on getting to know our country in our Hikoi Aotearoa context. We'll also spend time in the library on Friday enjoying our NZ novels and completing the novel google doc 'Hikoi Aotearoa'



    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • locate key NZ cities on a map 

    •use maps to look for information and recognise cultural  facts

    •increase our digital citizenship qualities

    Activities:

    1. Tony Traveller - follow Tony up and down our country enjoying his travels.
    2. NZ geography - how well do you know our main features - use the supporting material on google classroom to complete the task
    3. Friday : library session in our library with your NZ novel.

    Homework:
    keep up with your Reading Plus and Maths buddy! Practice placing NZ cities and towns on your map :o)

    • We are EXPLORING how to recognise and find novels in our library that are located in NZ towns and cities.
    • We are EXPLORING how characters connect and integrate with the plot of a novel.
    • We are EXPLORING locations in NZ by researching and collecting information so that we can organise our reading and writing.
