  • Welcome back to school! I know it's been tough at times to 'distance learn' from home, thank you to all of you for the effort you have put in over the past 2 weeks :o)

    We continue with our Hikoi Aotearoa context this week. Please share your novel document with me, thanks to those who already have :o)


    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • locate key NZ cities on a map 
    • use maps to look for information and recognise cultural  facts
    • increase our digital citizenship qualities

    Activities:

    1. Place as many cities on the blank map as you can, (list on whiteboard to choose from as scaffold, further scaffold - split into N.I and S.I)
    2. Complete the task - 'People Puzzle' using the support material on google classroom - Atlas Aotearoa ' People' and 'Dial a City'
    3. Digital Compass Session 2: 'Sticky Situation'
