    Monday is a public holiday for the whole country! It is ANZAC DAY!

    Tuesday is a Teacher Only Day and you may have a day for you :o)

    Although these are very unexpected and tough times, we take time to think about those men and women who fought for our country so that we may enjoy the kind of life we lead in such a beautiful country as we celebrate ANZAC day this week.

    There are no ceremonies in NZ today. I will choose to change my profile and STAND AT DAWN and spend time reflecting and listening to thoughts about ANZAC day. Take the opportunity if you can to stand at dawn at the end of your driveway with millions of New Zealanders because we can't attend a ceremony :o)

    Activities

    1, 2 AND 3. Paragraph Writing: I want you to think back to camp in March :o) 

    I have set up some things that could have happened and you are going to write 5 paragraphs for me. The template is on google classroom for you to follow. This should take 3 hours of your time :o)

    • We are REFLECTING on the challenge of distance learning and what the barriers might be to completing the tasks and attending the GMeets
    • We are REFLECTING on a world wide pandemic, the implications for us in NZ and the way we can show empathy when we take part in MHJC tasks and meetings
