  • Week 6: (9-13th March 2020)

     

    Kia Ora Class. Last week, we discussed ‘Film Techniques.’ This week, we will be learning about ‘Characterisation.’ Also, we will revise TEXAS paragraph writing.

    Activities:

    • Learning about ‘Characterisation’

    • Revising TEXAS paragraph writing.

    Big Idea: ‘Turangawaewae: My Place To Stand to Change the World.’ 

    Learning Intentions: (We are learning to...)

    We are exploring.......History of Hitler and Nazis by watching the film ‘Jo Jo Rabbit.’

    We are exploring......Film Study (Visual Text) by observing the elements of Film Making in the film  ‘JoJo Rabbit’

    We are exploring.....Diverse Historical issues  raised in the film by asking questions and in turn developing our own Point Of View in relation to those issues

    We are exploring......’Historical Context’  by establishing the connections between our past and present. 

    We are exploring.....’Change’ by analysing the ways in which we can make the desired changes in the world we live in today.
