We are EXPLORING so we can Learn about - Be able to explain the main characteristics of living organisms
- Identify a plant and an animal cell
- Be able to describe the 3 major microorganism groups and give an example of each
- Explain what these microorganisms look like - their main characteristics
- Describe how they reproduce
- Research ONE harmful microorganism and ONE beneficial microorganism
- Investigate a disease transmitted by a microorganism
- Carry out a number of experiments - bread growth/ yeast growth / agar plate inoculation
- Analyse the results of these experiments in a scientific way
