  • Context - “Tūrangawaewae - Where do we stand?” Māori World View

    Our Context for this is "Where do we stand?". As part of this context you will be exploring Māori world view, the environment around you and appreciate the beauty of New Zealand, which includes its flora and fauna. An extension of this context would be your visit to camp Adair. In mathematics you will be looking into the cost of your camp trip and budgeting. This includes a lot of playing with numbers.

    Activities:

    1. Do Now- Math Starters
    2. Group 1&2- Complete the questions on BIDMAS and indices
    3. Group 3,4 &5- Complete the questions on BIDMAS and square numbers
    4. Group 3,4& 5- Complete the questions in the print out
