Over the next few weeks, we will be learning to develop our knowledge and understanding of pacing and maintaining a good pace in preparation for the cross country. We will also be looking at ways to develop our stamina and recovery.
Success Criteria: I can...
• use key terms for stamina and running at different paces to help me with my fitness.
• Understand how and when to use different paces for different activities and distances.
• Apply my new knowledge to improve my performance when in stamina activities and physical challenges.
Activities:
1. Pacing running/ continuous relays.2. Bronco challenge, Fartlek (Speed play) challenges
3. Long walk, with runs and sprints - Walk Cross Country
