PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:
- We are PLANNING for two musical performances
- We are PRACTICING the individual technical and musical skills required to play these musical pieces
- We are REHEARSING as ensembles to bring these musical pieces to life
This week, you will be introduced to your Year 10 Music Performance Assessment.
You will then begin planning your performances by deciding on the pieces you are going to play, your groups/group members (if applicable - you can also perform solo) and start constructing a rehearsal schedule with specific goals to achieve for each session.
Activities:
- Introduction of assessment, Q&A of task instructions and rubric
- Picking music and finding resources online
- Goal setting
Success criteria - you can/have:
- Created a clear plan for your first performance on Google Classroom, which you will then follow from now on
