    FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

    • We are FOCUSING on one song to learn for an upcoming assessment
    • We are DEVELOPING the practical skills required to play the song


    This week you are forming groups and will choose a song/piece to perform for an upcoming PERFORMANCE assessment which will be in Week Four/Five of next term.

    As groups, you will create success criteria for the upcoming weeks to help you track your progress leading up to your performance.


    Activities:

    • Forming groups and listening to songs that we potentially want to learn and perform
    • Decide on roles/instruments within the group
    • Find resources to learn the music
    • Generate success criteria for the next few weeks


    Success criteria:

    • You have begun to prepare for your upcoming performance by creating success criteria
